The Žatika sports hall located in the town of Poreč will host a handball cup welcoming top quality handball clubs, such as RK Croatia osiguranje Zagreb, for the second time. Alongside the resident tournament participant, the Croatian champion, the German Vfl Gummersbach with Croatian players Vuković and Zrnić in their team will also play, as well as the Macedonian RK Metalurg with Lino Červar as their coach, the Hungarian champion MKB Veszprem KC and Renato Sulić playing for the club, the best Danish tean HC Bjerringbro-Silkeborg and the Slovenian vice-champion RK Cimos Koper.
