Cycling

The surrounding area of Poreč is full of well looked after cycle trails and is an ideal place for a holiday for all lovers of cycling. Down the length of the trails there are woods, olive groves, vineyards and untouched Mediterranean vegetation, and you are frequently rewarded with a wonderful view of the sea. Besides their natural beauty, the cycle paths of Poreč are surrounded by traces from past times, recorded in the cultural heritage.

Horse-riding

Try out some horse riding when you are on holiday. Enjoy the wonderful natural countryside, ancient olive groves, vineyards and fragrant trees in the forests and make your holiday different. Irrespective of whether you are an experienced rider or a beginner, you will be delighted with a horse ride through the natural surroundings around Poreč. You can ride in groups or at one of the organised several-day trips.

Poreč Paintball Club

Enjoy the natural surroundings and have a great time with paintball. Make your holiday different, get rid of stress, have fun and wake up the adventurous spirit that is sleeping inside you. The Poreč Paintball Club offers two locations for this fun adventure, so you can go paintballing on the Lanterna peninsula or in Poreč between the entrances to Plava and Zelena laguna.

Panoramic flights

The panoramic flights from the small Vrsar airport offer a unique experience. See the magical countryside of Istria from the air, and look at the interior with its vineyards, olive groves and the small magical towns located on the hilltops and the indented coastline with its many pretty coves, bays and islands. If you want to experience a unique adventure then why not try taking a hair-raising tandem parachute jump.

Sport climbing

Those of you looking for adventure during your holiday in Istria, try climbing. There are nine places to climb in Istria: Golden cape near Rovinj, Lim fjor, Dvigrad, Istrian thermal resort, Raspadalica above Buzet, Vranjska draga at Učka tunnel, then climb in Pazin, Mošćenička Draga, Vintijan near Pula and Rabac. Climb to these nine by so-called short-rocks of 20-30 meters height, with 270 equipped ascents.
