Miran Naturist Campsite in Pirovac and Kanegra Naturist Campsite in Umag were opened in Croatia.

In a naturist guide, alongside Denmark, Germany, England, Finland and France, destinations such as Yugoslavia, Austria, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland and Spain were presented as naturist destinations for the first time.

Naturist Destinations Section was founded in Zagreb at the Croatian Tourism Development Association. The Section's task was to promote, control and organize naturist destinations. Yugoslavia naturist associations joined that section as well.

The first Conference by the Croatian Campsite and Naturist Destinations Section was organized at the Pical Hotel in Poreč.

At the end of the year, Yugoslavian Campsite and Naturist Destinations Section was formed at the General Association for Tourism Economics.

The first Yugoslavian naturist guide-catalogue was printed, organized by the Yugoslavia Camping Association.

Ladin Gaj Campsite, today Park Umag (Lovrečica), was established as a naturist centre.
